Much cheaper, no more difficult and often quicker depending on the time of day to get on the Underground (tube) at Heathrow and off at Russell Square. Its the Piccadilly (dark blue) line, but you don’t have a choice at Heathrow and you don’t have to change. Turn left out of Russell Square station, left again onto Southampton Row, cross over the road and walk down about 5-10 min (depending on how fast you walk, if you get to Holborn station you have gone too far) turn right into Bloomsbury Place which turns into Great Russell St and you will walk past the entrance.
