Probably not that much, since there are always going to be people that prefer natural over synthetic materials. I think that overall there are cons and pros to both situations. Cotton farmers make better quality products but in low quantity, while the factories manufacture more for lower quality. Plus the upkeep for factories is way higher compared to the farms, I had a friend that worked at a textile company and he complained that the technicians had to do PLC repairs pretty frequently and that always bottlenecked the production.
