If your nails grow slowly, you may be able to hold out for 3 to 4 weeks before requiring a rebalancing or infill service. Some nail technicians may charge you for a Full Set instead of an Infill service if you wait this long as the rebalancing takes longer to perform and more repairs may be needed. As your nails grow, the nail enhancement moves along with the natural nail it is locked onto. If the nail grows too much without being rebalanced, the enhancement will be less capable of dealing with stresses place on it and the natural nail may become damaged if the nail is knocked. Customers who wait 5 or 6 weeks between services are placing their natural nails at risk. Just because an enhancement isn’t lifting doesn’t mean you don’t need a rebalance service.
