How often do the Public Work Folders get erased?
Most Public work folder are cleaned out on an “as needed” basis. When this occurs everything will be erased except for files timestamped the previous week. The only exception is the Multimedia lab (HCRC Rm. 106). The Public Work Folders in the multimedia lab are cleaned out in a WEEKLY basis on FRIDAYS. This is because of the larger files created in this lab, and the limited space in which to keep them. If you need to have a file stored for a longer period of time, you must make arrangements with Paul Collins (x7856) in the Henderson Computer Resources Center (Rm 301).
