How often is Taxotere® (docetaxel) and prednisone given?

Answer: Prednisone is given at a relatively low dose by mouth of 10 milligrams in one dose or 5 milligrams two times daily continuously. The docetaxel is generally given once every 3 weeks intravenously. How long does the chemotherapy take?
