How often is the imagery in iCAV updated?

0

The data service provider determines how frequently the geospatial imagery is updated. For example, the foundational geospatial imagery layers in iCAV NextGen are updated annually, while the CitySphere imagery layers from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) are updated on a more frequent basis. Imagery is also updated on an event-driven basis like after a hurricane, wildfire, or other natural disaster. After an incident, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) take images of the impacted area which will then be made available in the iCAV Suite of Tools.
