It is recommended by the experts that you should change your BMW oil between 7000-7500 miles. If you change your oil after in 12,000-15,000 miles it will be too long. It will damage your car engine. If you want to run your BMW for a long interval then I would recommend you to go for Mobile 10w-40 or Amsoil  5w-40. Change your Oil filter after 7500 miles. If you change your oil in a proper interval of time then your engine will run smoothly and its life will increase.
