At first you find you do this every time you go to the bathroom, or as frequently as you would previously have changed tampons. The MoonCup is designed to contain 1fl oz. As the average female has a flow capacity of 3 fl oz per cycle you can see that spread over a few days, this doesn’t amount to a trip to the bathroom more often than you would go to change a tampon. You will need to make less visits as you see the pattern, and volume of your flow. For example day one may be heavier for you than day three, but for each of us have our own pattern.
