Any of our Police Horses, which are retired, are loaned through a loan scheme administered by HAPPA (the Horse and Pony Protection Association). Horses are loaned out to a suitable home under a legally binding agreement. They are visited twice a year and should their home fall below standard then the horse would be removed and returned to the nearest HAPPA rescue centre. For more details of HAPPA, visit their wesite.
