How overrated are boy racer hot hatches?
I agree with you. If I want a fast car then I’ll buy a larger, more powerful car. I’m sure that it’s no coincidence that these hot hatch boy racers make up the majority of road deaths. If you crash at those speeds in a tiny car, you’re going to die and that’s all there is to it. Planetmatt: I have to agree with you about those stupid fat exhaust tail pipes. It always makes me laugh when I see one of these cars with an exhaust pipe that looks like it’s off of a Saturn 5 rocket, when you know it’s only got a 950cc engine at the other end. Good point Wafi, if you want to go fast then buy a motorbike. I remember when I was 17 (years ago!) that even my little Suzuki GP100 would beat any car accelerating away from the traffic lights.
