How Reputable Is University Of Maryland University College?
The answer is: it depends. Do you have a degree from a face to face (F2F) program already? If yes, then getting a Masters from UMUC will be looked upon with favor, especially if you are employed and working on the degree. Employers look askance at an applicannot with all online degrees. There are a growing number of online degree programs, UMUC is one of the most reputable. However, theree are otheres, less reputable, without any F2F components or experiential pieces. IMO, with those you might as well consider it a correspondence school. It’s wise to investigate the reputation of online programs, but remember that YOU are the most important variable in the equation. How hard are you willing to work independently? Online courses require focus and motivation. Many of my students have said online courses are harder than F2F, because they don’t have the structure and the professor in front of them.
