Very! See above for a description of how we construct collars. While our collars are very durable and can last for years, it is important you periodically check your dog's collar for signs of wear. We do not guarantee our products against excessive pulling, chewing, or scratching. We do not recommend using our collars for tie out purposes. As with all collars, only you can determine the suitability for your pet. Our fabric collars wear much like hemp collars and tend to soften up over time, so they may stretch slightly and it is important for you to check the fit of the collar and adjust it accordingly. Cat collars are made with a break-away buckle, this is to ensure that if your cat gets caught up on something, they can get free. Cat collars should not be used with leashes as if your cat pulls hard enough the break-away buckle will do what it is intended to and unlatch.
