How should I reference magazines and newspapers in the main text, just author, date or should the title of the publication be there too?
Your in-text reference has to match what appears at the beginning of each entry in the bibliography – author, then year and page number. If no author is given, the title of the article will be the first thing in your bibliography, so in this case your in-text reference will be the first few words of the title of article, then year and page number.
