Utilization review is a formal assessment of the necessity, efficiency and appropriateness of the services and treatment plan for an individual, and is a statutory requirement for CSA. It is expected that localities will share WVMI s feedback with FAPT, facilities, case managers and others as appropriate, and integrate the feedback into the case management process.
