How Solar Energy Is Produced?
Photovoltaic panels collect sunlight into solar cell, which are made of silicon and other elements. Each cell has a positive and a negative side which creates an electrical field. When the solar cells collect photons, their electrons break free and go to the bottom of the cell and out through a connecting wire which then generates electricity.
