How soon after ovulation can i take a pregnancy test?
You are going to hear this alot, but they say wait till you missed your period. It takes 7-10 days for the egg to implant. So this weekend the egg should implant. A preg test will definitely not pick it up yet. The rule of thumb is you can test 5 days before your missed period. Be sure to purchase a test that indicates that. And be sure to take it first thing in the morning. The first urine of the day carries the most of the preg horm. I’m sure you don’t really want to hear this but with my daughter, I did not get a positive till I was one whole week late. I knew I was preg, but kept getting negatives. Well needless to say 7 days late for my period, I got a positive. Best of luck and alot of us have been in this 2 week waiting period. It sucks and I wish I could offer something to make it easier.
