How Soon Can A Dr Detect An Ectopic Pregnancy?

0

When I first found out I was pregnant, I was at the hospital thinking my appendix was what was causing the severe pain in my lower back, come to find out i was pregnant with my oldest son and could not follow through with the CT scan. They instead did an ultra sound, and when they could not find the baby in my uterus, they did a vaginal to “get a better look” at the uterus and tubes, I would say I was about 3 weeks pregnant when they looked and finally found that it was not ectopic. So I would say any where from 3 to 6 weeks they should be able to tell. And since it is URGENT that the pregnancy be terminated (so I was told) they may even be able to tell sooner than that.
