How strict are DVLA driving regulations?

0

I tell all my pupils who pass their test, to drive like they did on their test day. You cannot go wrong. I’ve been driving since July 1982, I passed first time and ever since then I’ve not even had a parking ticket. I took my advanced driving test in 84, I passed with a class 1. I’ve kept my Class 1 ever since, resitting my Advanced Driving test every few years. I’m now a driving instructor and it annoys me to watch other road users who are not up to a standard trying to drive on our roads. It should be compulsory that you should be retested every 5 years. Put it this way, anybody can drive like a total wanker, but it takes the better driver to drive to the standard set out by the d.s.a. Why don’t you just jump red lights, speed down the road, get into the bus lane, and see what happens with you. You’ll lose your licence, you will then have to sit and extended driving test and then try getting insurance for your car……….
