How strong is the truck bed cover soft tonneau material?
The Alumi-Tech has no removable bows or crossbars. TREKs truck bed cover has fiberglass bars attached to the underside of the cover material for a smooth and solid surface, leaving the truck bed wide open for other uses. The truck bed cover material is a vinyl tonneau with a polyester weave backing and has a high tear and tensil strength and is weather, abrasion and rot resistant. No need to worry about collapsing under rain or snow. The Alumi-Tech truck bed cover has been tested to handle extreme loads. It is completely weather tight. No drainage hoses or reservoir tanks to plug with ice, dirt and debris. Our unique patented drainage system incorporated in the side rails allows moisture to exit, but not enter the truck bed.
