How to become a colourful punk girl?
Based upon the fashion I’ve seen in the DIY punk scene, especially crusty stuff and US hardcore/skatecore (read: NOT streetpunk). You’ll see as you read that punk rock is really just a different uniformity, with kids who look the same. Also, note that a love for music comes first: if you’re not already familiar with bands like Tragedy and From Ashes Rise, what follows may not be relevant. ————————————–… Perhaps dreadlock your hair. Or, just let it be as is… no real rules. No need to dye and or spike it, but some do. Shoes: Solid color Chucks, perhaps. Skate shoes seem unpopular, though there’s no reason YOU can’t wear them. Boots are fine too, as are men’s/unisex athletic shoes. Pants: Try carhartts, khaki pants, tight fit Levis/Riders black jeans, .etc, .etc. Tears are fine, and the dirtier, the better.
