Shared extension mailboxes are multiple private mailboxes with one telephone number. The caller is greeted with an initial prompt: • For person A Press 1 • Or person B Press 2 Persons A and B each have a unique 7 digit number that they use to check their messages. The number will be in a 400-XXXX format. When configuring EVM they need to use that 400 number as their mailbox number. They would enter 608400XXXX in the mailbox field.
