Here are my steps of manicure by myself:

1. Cut and file my nails

2. Buff my  nails

3. Soak my nails

4. Prepare my cuticles

5. Apply hand cream

Mostly I use light pink polishes like this one:

I used to do my nails at a salon but then tried myself, and it’s actually not that difficult, and it also brings me absolute satisfaction. I’ve even heard people saying that it can have therapeutic benefits, which is kinda cool. So, start by cleaning your nails with polish remover, and even if you don’t have polish on, you’ll still have to remove any oils or dirt that could warp your polish. Next, push back your cuticles, clip, file, and buff. Don’t forget to apply a base coat, and I would recommend using only one coat of color and finish with a topcoat. In the end, simply tidy up any wobbly edges with a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover, and leave your nails dry. If you want to fix nail polish peels off, you should know that applying cuticle oil will not help. I hope you find this useful!
