How to drink coconut rum?
Malibu is 21% ABV. So a shot of Malibu is basically a half a beer, or a half shot of vodka, whisky, etc. You can probably handle 5-6 shots in the first hour, but after that don’t have more than 2 per hour. You shouldn’t get wrecked from this, so you can still have a fun time. You can also start with 3 shots in the first hour, then do 3 shots the next hour, and then go to 1-2 per hour. If you mix the Malibu half and half with pineapple juice, though, its only 10.5% ABV. You could have a drink with about 4oz malibu and 4oz pineapple juice, and that would be the same as 3 shots (a bit less, actually).
