How to make a home made stuffed animals eyes light up?
Xenon bulbs and neon bulbs operate at comparatively high voltages (as well as operating at a high temperature, sometimes), and would probably be a safety hazard, in addition to requiring a complex battery or power system and would make the stuffed animal heavy or bulky. Best idea I can think of is to use LEDs — you can purchase them at an electronics store, the mathematics, circuit design, and construction (soldering, wiring, etc.) are high-school level, and even if the circuit shorts (on the extremely unlucky chance it might) it probably can’t cause a fire or even injury. Nowadays you can even get LEDs of any color you like, so it’s not a question of the mole having red, demonic-looking eyes.
