How to Make a Memory Jar
To make a memory jar, find a pretty jar, with an opening big enough to draw slips of paper out of easily and with a lid. Decorate the outside of the jar. You can do this with ribbon, by painting the jar, by covering the jar with fabric, or by gluing small items to the outside of the jar. Now, create the memories. You can fill the jar with as few or as many memories as you like. Finding 365 memories might be tough, so you might limit it to 52, one for each week of a year. Write the memories on the backs of cards. You can by computer cards, where computer supplies are sold and can even print your memories off of the computer, using software, if you choose. Fill the jar and you are ready to give it as a gift.
