How to Make Braided Rugs
Making braided rugs is a great family craft project, and a good way to use up scraps of material. First, cut your material into strips, about as long as you want the rug. Next knot three pieces together, and braid them, securing then end with another knot. Continue doing this with all your strips of material. Next lay the rug out roughly how you want the finished product to look, and either sew, or crochet the braids together.
