Since Avi Converter version 2.0.4, we support keeping AC3 5.1 audio track when ripping a DVD with AC3 5.1 audio. You may click menu “Options”->”Configure”, then click “Profile” tab on the popup window, choose “Internal MPEG-4 Codec” from the “Codec” dropdown list, then check the option “Keep AC3 5.1 audio track”. Press OK to save it. Then when you ripping a DVD which has AC3 5.1 audio, the output audio track will be still 5.1.
