I couldn’t find the answer anywhere, so I figured it out. Here is the solution (specifically model LTE5243DQ3): How to access the inside of the bottom washing machine half: This is all actually pretty easy. 1. At the back of the unit, remove the two 1/4″ hex screws going through 2 small anchors holding the washer top (with lid) in place. 2. The top can now be easily slid towards the front and lifted to expose the wire connector going to the lid switch. Undo the connector (pull apart the 2 ends) and now the top can be fully removed. 3. With the top removed, you can now access the two 1/4″ hex screws holding the front panel on. They are near the top corners of the front panel, on the inside. Unscrew these and the front comes off easily. 4. If you have water in the washer and need to drain it: If you have a wet-vac: connect it to the drain hose and suck the water out. If you don’t have a wet-vac: Locate the drain hose at the top back right of the unit, where it connects to the rear of the
