How to select a family lawyer for different purposes?
You want lawyers who practice in each particular specialty; you don’t want to use the same one for everything. So I would pick the specialty where I was most likely to need a lawyer, and go with that one. Then if something outside his area came up, he could refer you to someone else. If you are anticipating real trouble, you might want to put the attorney on a sizable retainer, so hopefully he could post your bail if needed.
