How to skip 8th grade?
State educational requires differ, so if you can post what state you are in that would help someone find an answer for you. Typically, as long as you can past the State test standards for 8th grade, then you should be able to move along to 9th. It’s a matter of passing tests and getting “course” credits, not “doing your time.” To graduate from high school, you must have X amount of credits (or hours or courses, however they word it), and pass the state tests for the grade level year. Each state has different requirements. To graduate, there are certain tests you must pass. (In a lot of cases, if you pass a certain test for a course then you might not have to take the course.) 8th grade should be easier to skip than high school years – but the high school years are much more strict in course requirements. So the theory is, you can either pass the grade level test, and move on to the next grade, or satisfy credit requirements through summer school then take the mandated test. If you have
