How to toilet train a beagle puppy?
Toilet training a puppy does take a bit of time. But first of all i would get rid of all the puppy pads, as that is just encouraging the puppy to pee & poo in the house. When i house train my puppies, i take them where ever i go from room to room so that i can keep an eye on them, unless of course they are asleep & if they are i keep popping back to check if they have woken up. Puppies need to toilet every time they wake up, play, just eaten or had a drink & anytime in between. So as soon as they have done one of these things you need to take them in the garden & stay with them so that you can see when they go, when they do go give your puppy lots of praise by stroking him and telling him what a clever dog he is. Signs to look out for when your puppy needs to pee or poo, is when he starts to sniff the floor,that’s the time to pick him up and carry him outside to wear you want him to go.
