Digital camera pretty much already is Latin! Let me explain: Digital comes from the Latin word digitus, which means finger. Camera obscura started to be used in the 16th century to mean a dark chamber, or a black box with a lens that could project images of external objects. Thus, together, digital camera actually means something like “Finger box”.
