How to use 400 MHz system clock in the Simulink environment?

0

It is not possible to use a 400 MHz system clock on our cards. The timing constraints of the FPGA make this impossible. The maximum rate for system clock that we have been able to realize is 250 MHz, but even that rate can be extremely challenging to maintain with large logic designs. You’ll need to architect the firmware to move more data, using wider bus widths at the 200 MHz clock rate to achieve 400 MHz processing. We’ve used this technique to support 1 GHz processing using a 250 MHz clock manipulating 4 samples per clock.
