Residential land values were established based on an analysis of vacant land sales within similar areas, called neighborhoods. Maps showing these neighborhoods are available in the County Auditors appraisal or real estate office. Values for agricultural land that is not enrolled in the Current Agricultural Use Value Program (CAUV) are established using a market rate based on sales. CAUV land values are set by the Ohio Department of Taxation each year.
