The electives are all representative of research strengths within the School of Engineering. Not all research strengths are reflected in the electives, some are present within the modules contained in degree spines. The electives were specified following a survey of 600 Engineering applicants in 2002/3. The electives on offer is currently under review and new ones will be added as the work of the School and the interests of the students evolve.
