How were the original paintings painted?
Most of them were painted with watercolors first mostly on rice paper and then overdrawn with the angels with inks. Sometimes powder eye shadows (eye makeup) has been mixed with water and used for the colors. If a specific print was originally painted with only powder eye shadows, Powder Eye Shadow will be part of the title. Most of the watercolor backgrounds were painted outside near flower gardens or else were painted in the kitchen on the counter.
