How will instructional grants be disseminated for FY 2010?
FY 2010 instructional grants will be disseminated using the same criteria that were used in FY 2009. This includes allocation formulas and reimbursement schedules. However, the existing criteria may be revised pursuant to the implementation of recommendations approved by the Transition Council. These grants will need to be prepared, approved and processed by the effective date of transfer so that there is no break in grantee funds. In order to accomplish this, DLLR’s Division of Workforce Development and the Office of Budget and Fiscal Services, along with MSDE staff, will define a process that will meet all applicable deadlines.
