How will pedestrians safely get through the construction and eventually the roundabout?

The construction firm is very attentive to pedestrian safety. There will be well marked temporary pathways for pedestrians to follow during construction. When completed, there will be well marked permanent pathways (denoted by different paving materials) for pedestrians to follow in crossing through the roundabout. The distances pedestrians will have to travel will be far less with the roundabout configuration than current conditions. You can get a visual image of what this will eventually look by clicking here to see some schematics for various phases of the roundabout construction. The tan shaded areas in Stage 4 drawing shows pedestrian pathways.
