How will services to children and young people in out-of-home care be improved under Keep Them Safe?
A significant component of Keep Them Safe funding is going to support the expansion of out-of-home care (OOHC) services. Specific improvements include the appointment of OOHC Coordinators in Health and Education, whose role it is to ensure children and young people in OOHC receive comprehensive multi-disciplinary health and developmental assessments and individual education plans for children in NSW Government schools.
