How will SfN maintain its commitment to advancing neuroscience in developing countries?
The revised international strategy articulates SfN’s continued commitment to supporting the development of neuroscience in developing countries. The repurposed International Affairs Committee will have a subcommittee on developing country neuroscience, whose members will also serve on IBRO’s US-Canada Regional Committee (USCRC), which focuses primarily on developing country initiatives. These liaison members will represent SfN interests to IBRO and vice versa. SfN will contribute annually to the USCRC to fund IAC-supported priority programs that benefit developing countries.
