How will SoftKey be handled when customers, who mixed their purchases of Elixir software sold by Xerox & Elixir, upgrade to 4.0x?
Elixir will not automatically update customers who we know have software from Xerox. These customers will be upgraded when Xerox releases version 4.0x. Elixir software will recognize the Xerox license file, Elixir license file and newly programmed ElixiKey devices. A combination of the three is also supported. 11. Since Elixir and Xerox use a different protection files, will there be a conflict? There will not be a conflict. The Elixir software will pick up both files and activate all software licensed. This cohabitation can occur, and will work, on a single workstation.
