How will software piracy be prevented?
The GD ROM system was developed as a 1 Gigabyte drive to avoid compatibility with current CD ROM writing units. Although the Dreamcast can play and read audio CDs, the GD ROM discs cannot be accessed on a standard CD ROM. This GD ROM has proved un-copyable and its inclusion in the Dreamcast was an excellent move to increase data storage and eradicate piracy on the system.
