How will stakeholders be involved in the transition to licensing?
A. The BPCPA is working closely with consumer and industry stakeholders in moving towards industry regulation. The Board appointed members representing consumers and industry to the Telemarketing Industry Advisory Group in May, 2005 and began consultations with the group. The purpose of the group is to identify consumer and industry related issues and potential solutions for consideration by the Authority and to provide feedback on any matters put forward by the BPCPA for consideration.
