How will the Canadian NHL teams finish this year?
Ottawa Vancouver Calgary Toronto Montreal Edmonton As much as it pains me to say it, the Sens just have the aura around them going into this year. They’ll be better than they were last year and win the Northeast. Vancouver will be about the same as last year, winning the Northeast but being average in the playoffs. Calgary and Toronto will sqeuak into low seeds. Montreal had a mediocre regular season and then rode a hot goalie who they don’t have anymore deep into the playoffs, and the Oilers, well, they are what everyone seems to think the Leafs are. I’m not saying they’ll be dead last again, but they won’t be within smelling distance of the playoffs come April.
