How will the DataTherm® improve temperature monitoring of the Neonate?
The DataTherm® is ideal for continuously monitoring and trending the Neonate’s temperature especially while being weaned from the isolette. It is about the size of a deck of cards, lightweight, portable and easy to use. Designed with high and low temperature alarms, the DataTherm® will alert the caregiver when temperature fluctuations go above or below the preset limits. Once the sensor probe is attached, the DataTherm® will display real time temperatures every 4 seconds and store up to 70 temperature measurements. The DataTherm® automates the labor-intensive practice of waking the infant frequently to manually take the infant’s temperature.
