How will the emergency Rx history service benefit physicians?
The Emergency Rx History Service will benefit physicians in four ways: • Physicians will be able to view a patient’s Rx History across care providers; • Physicians will be able to view a patient’s Rx History regardless of whether the patient is covered by a major drug plan or whether they pay cash for their prescriptions; • Physicians will be able to identify potential drug interactions with other drugs and allergies; • By providing access to Emergency Rx History to physicians anywhere in the country – for patients who are from anywhere in the country.
