How will the Member of MCX procure such equipment? Would MCX play any role in the equipment purchase process?
In order to keep the cost of communications equipment and support low, the communication equipment has been negotiated for by the Exchange and the cost would be paid by the members. This was also done for better delivery timing. However, for the computer hardware and system software, the members would be required to make their own arrangements and the Exchange may only prescribe the minimum hardware / system software configuration.
