How will the occupants of the UNHQ be isolated from construction?
• Occupied areas will be isolated from construction areas with physical barriers. In addition, the air supply and return systems of the occupied space will be isolated from the construction areas. Air quality will be monitored throughout the project in accordance with U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration and other prevailing industry standards. Skanska, the CMP construction manager, will appoint a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Officer to the project to oversee the construction process. • Separate routes will be developed so that no one who is not a member of the construction team will be able to walk through a construction zone.
