Phase One of the Promenade Project is bringing major changes to the waterfront area between the Vincent Thomas Bridge and Fire Station 112. Options for placing the Red Car Line on a new alignment in this area are under study, but in any scenario service to the Cruise Ship Terminal will continue uninterrupted. For the foreseeable future, the Red Car Line will remain on its present Harbor Blvd. alignment.
