How will traffic signals between Route 45 and Arbor Vista be synchronized and will there be sensors? In addition, how will the timing be set for rush hour?
The existing traffic signal at US 45 and Arbor Road will be upgraded to current standards and will be timed for 24 hours operation based on vehicular volumes and demand present during the day. The signal timing will be based on detector loops and sensors embedded in the pavement. The proposed traffic signals at US 45 /Casey and US 45/Arbor Road will be interconnected to provide adequate traffic progression between both signals.
